Rose....
Way cool to meet another Long Islander on these boards! I'm on the south shore too..in Bayshore. :)
At the risk of boring the others....LOL....hey...wonder how many other bingo lovers we have here????
Anyway, I was a huge bingo player up until I quit smoking a few years back and I got into this online stuff instead. ;) Alot of the halls are going smoke-free now, so I might think about going again sometime.
Foxwoods is all paper specials. Just bring your trusty ink dabber. They play all sorts of cool special games and you get to see the ball coming up on the tv screens they have all over before the caller even calls it. But you have to wait to yell bingo until he actually calls it. Man was I sweating when I saw that O-69 come up on the screen knowing I had hit for the grand and not being able to yell until he called it. Hahahahahaaaa.
When I was in Foxwoods last, they still allowed smoking. They had special non-smokers rooms set up. I don't know what the regulations are now. I can't imagine them not allowing smoking. It's a casino for goodness sakes! ;)
The game takes about the same amount of time....about 3 hours or so. Bring your own snacks if you can, the food is expensive. Honestly, I would make a reservation if I were you. We went during the week and it was very crowded. At least you will be assuring yourself a seat. They have a whole lot of little shops to browse in. Brings lots of money though! Unless you play bingo first and win. LOL. I am sure you will love Foxwoods and have a really good time. Make sure you catch the Indian in the center of the main shopping foyer area. It's awesome when the lightning strikes and the rain starts.
Have fun and GOOD LUCK.....I hope ya win something!
Purrs,
Munchie
Sorry if I have bored anyone else. Just tell me to put a cork in it if I have. {g}
