A nice rescue story

A little kitten has been hanging around my house the last few days. I cannot bring her inside because Angel would terrorize her. Today, I walked to work to the hospital in front of my house. The little girl followed me I guess. She showed up at the hospital cold and wet. Within two hours there was a list of four people wanting to take her home.
She now has a forever home with a very nice family. The young boy that found her at the hospital fell in love and his mom loves the kit too. I kitty-sat during lunch while they went out and bought the needed cat stuff. When I left work, I stopped by her office to say goodbye to the kit. The kitten was stretched out on the desk, sound asleep.
She is a beautiful cat. I estimate her at 5 to 6 months old. She is "dirty" beige in color with dark points and DARK blue eyes. And such a sweet personality.
She will be much loved and well taken care of. She has ear mites and possibly worms, but will be going to the vetdoctor before the end of the week.
She will also be an indoor kit and go play spades as soon as possible. The young boy that wanted her so badly is a very nice young man. His mother has taught him well in care, concern and compassion. He will play with her and give her tons of attention.
I really have a warm fuzzy feeling about this. Greg...the kits new "Daddy" was gone for 1 hour to get cat stuff and when he got back he took her from me, cuddled her and told her how much he missed her. A very sensitive young guy.

Anyway..one more disposed of cat has found a forever home and will not make more unwanted cats. A good day by my standards.

Imagine if we could ALL save one cat each week. We still could not stop the overpopulation of unwanted kits. But maybe we could make a dent in the problem.

SPAY/NUETER any and all cats you can get your hands on.

Mikey and Angel say MEOW!!!!!

Pat
