I have an 'older' siamese. The vet guestimated about 11 yro. She was severally abused before she came into my hands, so she has ALWAYS been very timed. Ducks even when I pet her sometimes, and is not a vocal siamese.
anyhow, the past few months she has lost lots of weight, very much so I worry that with winter coming she actually may freeze. I have taken her to the vet, he suggested she may have an ulcer and suggested giving her pepto bismo. Even though she didn't care for it much, she never put any more weight on.
She hasn't changed her additutde, doesn't act sick, Im just looking for suggestions.
I've tried every cat food made hoping she'd eat a lot of something. I see her head a few times a day, and even tried soft/wet food thinking her teeth may bother her, to no luck.
Any suggestions?
