I would take a night cryer to the vet for a check up. My eighteen year old recently went through a several week long bout with this. Having experienced many changes in him through the years, he has been diabetic for ten, etc., I took it as something that would pass...he's still quite the active guy, or was. Subsequently, he has been developed a large mass on his neck. We had a biopsy done today. A year ago he had a toe amputated due to malignant cancer and had been his old active self since...had not changed a bit since getting him at two years old, despite his diabetes, shots, etc. Quite an amazing guy I have. The recent week has been rough...rapid weight loss, listless, and sick. Pray for us please...and take the restless guys for a check up...I think it is a sign of something deeper. Peace.
:My 15+ year old cat has recently begun crying at night. She has done a little crying for years, but it's quite severe now. It started after a week's vacation when a cat sitter (known and trusted) came 3X while we were gone. Now she cries 8-12 times a night, loud enough to wake us. She's got plenty of food and water. We've been back a week now, have given her attention, brushed her, etc., but she's still fussing every night. Any thoughts?
