Daily exudes such beauty and serenity. I'm so sorry for your loss. My C. J. (aka "Goose") is eighteen and I thought he'd never change...(just been amazing an amazing guy, rescued him from a 'kill' shelter at two years of age, my best friend, and the best friend a gal could have) having a rough time dealing with his current problem. I pray for your peace and wonderful memories of your Daisy. She was a lucky girl. Peace. Lisa
:Night crying is very common in older cats. The causes are not really known, although some behaviorists think it stems from a combination of senility and deafness. The cat meows and uses the sound as a sort of sonar echo to navigate around the house. :When my cat Daisy got old and deaf, she'd cry at night and I'd go get her and pick her up and cuddle her for a minute. Then I'd set her down and she'd be just fine. :Your senior cat does need a vet check ASAP though, since often there are medical problems behind the night crying. Your cat might not be in pain, but she may be aware that something is not quite right and is letting you know. Here is a picture of my beautiful Daisy. She went to the Bridge on September 5, 1998 at the age of 18 years!
