The vet says it is old age so he gave her a steroid shot and that caused her to have trouble sitting and caused her to drag her tail. So then he tried another pill form of steroid and it did the same thing. He says it is better for her to have discomfort sitting then to throw up constantly. He says this is very unusual for a cat and thinks it will resolve itself. So I keep giving her the meds once a week and the tail dragging and discomfort has not stopped. I can't stand to see her like this.

Is there another medication or remedy that does not involve steroids? It is not a hairball issue so hairball treatments do not work. I have tried them all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sherry
