and I am looking for some advice while I await the return call of the vet. She has never had any bladder problems before & has always used the litter box untill recently. Her hearing & sight are deteriorating, and her personality is gradually changing her into a crazy delerious type cat. Last mo, she started peeing on the sofa, the 3 over the counter pet stain/odor cleaners clearly had no effect. Now have a brand new sofa w/ no existing pet odors, & she started peeing on it nearly twice a day. ( I now have it covered w/ a plastic tarp) She is still using the litter box regularly as far as I can tell, no odd noises either. She has a sister from the same litter, and 10 mos ago we added a new kitten to the mix. he is very energetic & does chase her sometimes, but I think she would have adjusted by now....I give her lots of extra love and attention & she is a very cuddly type cat...any ideas on what is going on or what I can do?
