The past few days Ducky's anal glands have been STINKING! The vet we went to last night said he probably got excited and accidentally expressed them. I have not seen any anal gland material (I know what it looks like in dogs and haven't seen anything like that) but his butt stinks and wherever he sits it leave the smell. My real question is, could this be related to him getting neutered? Is there anything that the vet could have done to cause this? It's really gross and we'd like to resolve it as soon as possible! :) Thanks

I don't think that the neutering caused the anal gland problem. However, if they've been "expressed" the stink should have cleared up by now. Give your vet a call and find out what is going on.

Poor stinky Ducky!
