Another thing that Smokey does (also did it with his previous owners) is to put his paws in his water. He does this especially after getting out of the litter box. If I give him 16 ounces, he'll likely spill at least 6 of them on the floor. He is 4 paw declawed and I wonder if his pads hurt him. Or is he just playing? Any ideas?

I have given him two bowls for now, incase he doesn't want to drink from the one he gets litter in.
