Yes, please try to work a deal with your parents. Has he been tested for FeLv/FIV yet? That should be done before introducing any cat to another cat, since both diseases are contagious and fatal. If something is wrong with him and is making him cry waitng a few weeks can make all the difference, it could be too late. And if he's not neutered he can spray in your house.

Take him to the vet and be patient with him. He's had a lot to deal with in a very short amount of time.

:
:It sounds like your male cat may need to be checked by the vet. He may not be neutered and once this is done the meowing won't be quite so bad. Maybe you could work something out with your folks so you could get the cat to the vet now and pay back later any expenses incurred.

:Take some time to play with your new kitty and this might also help the meowing. There are lots of articles in the introducing new pets section that can explain how to properly introduce the cats to each other.

:Be patient. Cats take time to make adjustments. My cat has been inside for almost five years and he still gets the crazy meows because he wants to go out. He's much better now than he was, however, and we can and do get our sleep.

:Well he's been in my house for about 3 days. Nope, I didn't take him to the vet YET. I'm planning to maybe after a couple of weeks since my parents kind of putting it all on me because I was the one who said that I wanted to adopt this cat. And how much will all that cost approx?
::Is he ever going to stop meowning? I mean it's okay if he meows for food, or wants doors open, or whatever, that's normal, but will he ever stop meoning while he walks around the house and stuff?
::And approx. how long will it take for them to adjust to one another? Or will they ever?
::Thanks for you help
