:I just brought my 15 year ol'Calvin to the vet last week because she has been wheezing and snorts from time to time. She has
:been doing this for a few months. I thought maybe she just had a cold and she would get better. But some of the sounds
:seems so strange that I just had to find out what was going on. The vet suspects a tumor which I was so shocked to hear. She
:has a little puffyness on the side of her nose and she looked pale. The doc swabbed her nose and said there wasn't any
:discharge. She perscribed Amuxi drops for 2 weeks (started last week) to see if Calvin may show improvement. Calvin has shown definite improvement. Just very very little wheezing. I'll have to wait and see how she does in another week before I bring her back to the vet. Has anyone else experienced this same thing? I want to be prepared if things should get worse. My vet did say that if Calvin does have a tumor then it can be very nasty. No blood work has been done at this point. She just suspects.

I am hoping that since the medication seems to be helping that Calvin will prove the vet wrong and that there won't be a tumor. Keep us posted!
