Hmmm. I think this is a little different than what the article explains. It doesn't come across as agression from Smokey because he keeps purring and seeking to be petted even while nipping. There is no indication that he is aggitated. If I do keep petting him, things are bound to turn into a play session where he tangles with my hand...but I have stopped allowing that.
