:I am moving from Oregon to Massachusetts, all the way accross the country. I have three cats. I have considered driving (because I need my car when I get there). But that is a really long trip (several days)with cats. I also considered flying, but I'm not sure I trust airlines with my kitties. I need suggestions!

You probably be better off driving. Do you have someone who might make the trip with you to help with "kitty control"?

Before you go, be sure each cat has its own carrier. Take a litterbox and food/water dishes and of course food. Be sure you have reservations in motels that will accept pets. Keep the cats in the carriers, but plan to stop every couple of hours and let them out to see if they need to use the litterbox or want to eat or drink. Also you really should never leave the cats unattended in the car. This is where having someone with you will help since you'll need to use the human litterbox!
