She is too young right now to be left at home alone. Since she is a kitten, a trip to the vet for boarding might not be as stressful as it would be for an older cat. At this age, I wouldn't even recommend someone coming over to check on her. I think she'll need to be around people and other animals. After she is about a year you could start leaving her alone overnight, perhaps with someone to check about midway throught the time you'll be gone.

:Hi. I hope someone is out there! I am going on two overnight trips in a few weeks and am unsure whether to leave my 5mo old kitten home alone or take her to the vet. She is very well behaved, at least when I am watching, uses litter box, scratches only her post, isn't destructive. Is she too young to be left overnight. I am leaving early morning and won't be back until late the next day. I am afraid of what I will come home to. Will she be stressed and pee everywhere? What do you think? Thank you.
